Aside from koalas, Shane Warne and shoeys, there isn’t much that’s more Australian than Mambo – and the longtime cult label threw a more ambitious soiree over the weekend at Warners Bay.

Introducing Motel Mambo: Sitting just outside of Newcastle, it was a one night only affair that saw the brand splash their infectious aesthetic all over a motel. We checked in during the party’s early hours and proceeded to bask in some sunset poolside drinks with Captain Frando on the decks. Does it get any better?

After that, it was Winston Surfshirt followed by special guest Tkay Maidza, who delivered m yet another high-energy performance after her jam-packed Sydney show last Thursday. Catch the action from Motel Mambo here:
