Party & Bullshit
January 30, 2018

Aussies abroad have thrown their own Australia Day celebrations, hitting a stunning rooftop in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Since 2009, Australian clothing label NXP (short for Nena & Pasadena) has grown exponentially and can now be found everywhere from Glue Store, to Bloomingdales, to Myer. It’s only fitting that they teamed up with the fellow homegrown successes behind LA venue E.P. & L.P. for a soiree last weekend. The brainchild of Melbourne’s David Combes and Grant Smilie, it’s understandable why Australia Day is one of the biggest dates on the E.P. & L.P. calendar, and the NXP collaboration made it the funnest yet.

Despite being winter in Los Angeles, it was a crisp day pushing 30 degrees as guests were treated to cocktails, bites, and a preview of the latest NXP threads on the West Hollywood rooftop. For all the Australians in attendance, this was sure to cure any homesickness with a little slice of down under on the west coast.
