Over the past five years, Sounds Of The Suburbs has grown to become South Sydney’s flagship festival, and the biggest edition yet arrived on the weekend.

Despite it being a Sunday and Father’s Day, a massive crowd turned up to Sutherland car park for the multi-stage event – with SOTS even offering free tickets for anyone who wanted to bring their old man along for the action. Big move! It was a long day and night of beers and circle pits, with the venue decorated in hyper-colour art and filled with tunes from Skegss, Ruby Fields, Bleeding Knees Club and more.

It’ll be interesting to see where SOTS ends up in another five years – because with the stellar turnout yesterday, it’s quickly becoming one of the country’s most essential and exciting boutique festivals.
