Having modelled Nike’s recently resurrected Cortez model earlier this year, Bella Hadid is back to help celebrate the 35th birthday of the Air Force 1.
It’s only been a few weeks since Hadid’s extremely weird ‘sneaker shopping’ video had the Internet’s meme department working in overdrive, but Hadid is back talking about her love of the swoosh in this new cover shoot for Footwear news. With images by Eric T. White, Hadid models the latest Air Force 1 capsule collection including collaborations with Travis Scott, Virgil Abloh and Roc-A-Fella.
“I would pair them with everything. I’ve worn sneakers with a gown, with a short dress, a long dress, sweatpants, tracksuits, shorts. You could wear them with anything,” Hadid said of the shoe.
“Growing up, when I figured out you could customise shoes online, that was my No. 1 thing — and Air Force 1 was always my go-to. I started to love the low-tops, but in high school, I was obsessed with the high-tops,” she continued.
