Crafted in Bali, Cabana Cartel is a swimwear label looking to change our attitudes towards the environment – offering sleek swimwear pieces that are made from recycled fishing nets and plastic pollution woven with quality Italian yarn.

Here we’re presented with their Motel Mexicola lookbook, which sees the lively pieces paired with some equally colourful backdrops with plenty of zesty Southern American flavour. Cabana Cartel offer hypercolour takes on classic prints including snakeskin, leopard and floral – all while helping turn our ocean waste into a wardrobe staple. The bikinis are worn by Joanne McKay and Misha Chen, with Josh Patil behind the lens.
