Nelly shared the announcement via instagram in one of the most unexpected fashion news stories in recent memory.

Approximately 10 years since anyone (we know) has even thought about the pioneering women’s line, Nelly has decided to dust off the cobwebs on Apple Bottoms. Having risen to cult status in rap music and fashion in the 2000s – including iconic references in Flo Rida and T-Pain’s collaborative hit ‘Low’, and Eminem and Nate Dogg’s ‘Shake That’ – the brand subsequently fell off the grid, probably around the same time that T-Pain and Nelly stopped making bangers.

Nelly originally launched Apple Bottoms back in 2003 in women’s jeans before expanding into a wide range of apparel and accessories. Little else is known about the brand’s re-launch at this stage, however with applebottoms.com back at it, we’re definitely excited to see a resurgent 2000’s fashion lookbook. Stay tuned.
