After sneering with envy at JD Sports’ Australian stores in Melbourne and Gold Coast, it was finally Sydney’s turn yesterday, with the sportswear giant opening its doors at Parramatta Westfield.
The renowned UK retailer has recently made the move Down Under, and Sydneysiders have been patiently waiting for their turn – and were rewarded with a spacious store in the Western Suburbs. Filled with classics like Air Max 95s and Adidas Campus, as well as new head-turners like Vapormax and NMDs, the Sydney store is filled with more sneakers than your feet can handle, plus cozy tracksuits and sweat-proof gym wear.
The store opening was also celebrated by the Western Sydney Wanderers, with players dropping by to visit the store in the arvo.
