It’s a rap beef that dominated hip-hop headlines back in the 2000s, but it looks like 50 Cent & Ja Rule aren’t quite done yet.
The two New York rap titans went head-to-head well over a decade ago, resulting in quality diss tracks including ‘Back Down’ and ‘I Smell Pussy’ – and while 50 and Ja are both well past their hit-making prime, there’s still not shortage of bad blood between the rivals. However, 50 may have taken things to a whole new level of pettiness, with the Queens rapper now claiming that he purchased 200 front row tickets to an upcoming Ja Rule concert, just so he could keep them empty.
Taking to Instagram, 50 notes that tickets to Ja’s gig on November 9 had been reduced to $15, with the discount price proving just too enticing for 50. “I just bought 200 seats in the front so they can be empty,” he explained on Instagram. “At $15 a pop you can’t lose, I got 200 tickets for 3 bands.”
Ja Rule has since replied on Twitter in a series of messages aimed at 50:

There’s no telling whether 50 actually bought the handful of tickets, but either way, you can’t deny that 50 might just be the best shit-stirrer of all time. Who puts this much effort into being a dickhead? Still, we can’t deny that it’s a tiny bit entertaining. We’ll have to wait until November 9 to see how Ja’s show goes down. In the meantime:
