On the aptly titled ‘Raf,’ Rocky makes another statement regarding the relationship between rap and high-end designers, following the likes of Jigga’s ‘Tom Ford’ and Migos’ irresistible ‘Versace.’ In fact, Quavo from the ATL trio delivers a guest verse alongside Lil Uzi Vert and a surprising effort from Frank Ocean, who switches from his usual melodic crooning to a more direct rap form.
As you can probably tell from the title, the track honours Simons and other designers that ordinary people can’t afford to wear, all over hypnotic production. The track appeared on Ocean’s BlondedRadio show on Beats 1, where he also named Andre 3000 the GOAT. We can’t disagree with that one.
