Are you a Sydneysider struggling with NYE plans? Don’t want to spend midnight with a slightly obscured and distant view of the Harbour Bridge? Well, we’ve got some good news for you.

Brand new event NYE In The Park is hitting Camperdown for the first time this year, bringing some of the country’s best party-starters and a dash of international flavour to soundtrack a smooth 2017/2018 transition. Hitting Victoria Park on December 31, they’re promising to over-deliver on Sydney’s underwhelming NYE festivities. The legendary 2ManyDJs will be bringing a DJ set to headline the event, while one of the country’s favourite live acts, Hot Dub Time Machine will be travelling through genres and generations with a wide-spanning set.

Elsewhere, we have some of Australia’s standout dance producers (Paces, Yahtzel) and vocalists (Maribelle, Nicole Millar, Vera Blue) and even Charli 2na from Jurassic 5, who’ll be performing alongside Krafty Kuts. Tickets are also on the affordable end for a relatively large-scale event, with pre-sales from $59.
