News that 2D, Murdoc, Russel and Noodle AKA The Gorillaz have been busy in the studios over the past months working hard on a follow-up to 2017’s Humanz will be music to the ears of fans of the UK group, especially after the band’s non-virtual frontman Damon Albarn somehow managed to leave a laptop with a copy of the forthcoming album in the back of a cab a week or so ago.
The record is due out in exactly one month (June 29th) and will hopefully see the group head back over to Australia sometime soon. A run of Damon Albarn solo shows back in 2014 on his Everyday Robots tour has been the closest thing we’ve had in the last eight years to a Gorillaz tour and, needless to say, Aussie fans are itching to experience the group live.
