Nick Murphy – that’s the artist formerly known as Chet Faker, if you forgot – will soon be tackling Laneway Festival and is expected to drop a record sometime in 2017.

We’ve heard bits and pieces from the man since his drastic name reversion, and here he guests on a new track from British producer Bonobo. ‘No Reason’ will appear on Bonobo’s sixth album Migration set to drop this Friday, and is just one heavyweight collaboration that features on the full-length – but perhaps the most anticipated given the mystery shrouding Murphy’s recent work.

‘No Reason’ is a slow-burning dancefloor single that stretches for over seven minutes, featuring Murphy’s vocals gliding gracefully alongside nocturnal production from Bonobo. A video of the creative process behind ‘No Reason’ has also dropped from a studio in Brooklyn – watch and listen below, and perhaps we’ll even get a live rendition come Laneway. If you reside in the States, you can catch Murphy and Bonobo co-headlining a gig at Red Rocks Ampitheatre on May 12:
