Hip-hop power couple Jay Z & Beyonce have just kicked off their On The Run 2 tour, which will be snaking its way through European and American stadiums until October.

The first city to be treated to the On The Run 2 experience was Cardiff, Wales overnight at Principality Stadium, and now the setlist from the show has just slid in – and yes, it’s very large. With both artists having legendary catalogues under their belts, audiences were treated to a lengthy 42-song set which included Jay Z favourites from ‘Big Pimpin’ to ‘The Story Of OJ’ and a few Kanye collaborations for good measure, while Beyonce performed ‘Baby Boy,’ ‘Flawless’ and more.

Of course, the couple made use of the double-bill to perform duets like ‘Crazy In Love,’ ‘Drunk In Love’ and the immortal ’03 Bonnie & Clyde.’

While there are no Australian dates for the On The Run 2 tour, an April report from the Herald Sun stated that there was “a deal is locked in” to bring it here in summer. Seeing as the current run ends in October, the timing seems to be lining up, so let’s hope and pray that it eventuates.
