There’s not many people who can have a whole album or tour dedicated to their #1 hits.

Than again, Mariah Carey isn’t like most people. The living, breathing R&B goddess and personification of the word ‘extra’ has established herself as a chart monster for decades, churning out some of the silkiest dancefloor jams and heart-wrenching ballads to ever bless human earholes.

Now, her most commercially successful numbers will be getting a live rendition in Australia & New Zealand as part of her #1s tour this February. While she’s sold a shit tonne of records in her time, there’s an upper echelon of her catalogue which has peaked on the charts to snatch prime position: ‘Always Be My Baby,’ ‘One Sweet Day’ ‘Fantasy (Remix)’ with ODB and ‘Honey’ – hopefully she brings Mase, Puffy and The LOX to remix the latter.

There’s plenty of other #1s in her stash, so who knows what Mariah will whip out on her visit Down Under. While we don’t have dates or venues just yet, the tour has been confirmed by the MJR Presents team, who promise that all will be revealed soon.
