Somehow, Origin NYE just got bigger.
The Perth festival has earned a reputation for snagging the world’s biggest acts for its end of year celebration – and having previously announced the likes of DJ Snake, Kaytranada, ScHoolboy Q, Stormzy and Princess Nokia on its lineup, punters were more than pleased with the 2017/2018 roster. However, Origin have one ahead and made a handful of new additions, including the ever impressive and eclectic Detroit rapper, Danny Brown.
Also appearing as a special guest is UK emcee Giggs, who’s just released his Wamp 2 Dem mixtape after a decade of building the British rap scene, and also appearing twice on Drake’s recent More Life project. Drum & bass will come courtesy of Alix Perez & Skeptical playing a collaborative set, while Sydney producer Swindail and Flume collaborator Kucka rounding up the latest additions.
