The Perth band have returned with a new clip and some big news.

POND fans rejoice. Your favourite psych/pop/rock weirdos have today dropped a brand new single ‘Daisy’ with a typically absorbing new video. But that’s not the only good news, we now have a date for the release of the group’s 8th studio album, Tasmania, which will be gracing your earholes March 1st.

Directed by Jesse Taylor Smith and filmed on Kulin and Nyoongar Nations land in Victoria, the clip sees frontman Nicholas Allbrook performing in his signature dance ‘style’ surrounded by gum trees and rusted out machines of yesteryear. Allbrook also carries a technicoloured cloak for some reason which makes for some dazzling viewing.

If last year’s single ‘Sixteen Days’ and ‘Daisy’ are anything to go, it’s fair to say that we are staring down the barrel of some of POND’s best work to date. Can March 1st come any quicker?!
