Melbourne production trio Casper Zazz have returned triumphantly with their first single in over three years titled ‘Flashing Lights’ – and this smooth tune is sure to ease the pain of returning to work after a long weekend.

These three young lads have made a name for themselves by working with some of the country’s brightest burgeoning talents – they recently lent their beat-making skills to Mallrat’s Uninvited EP, while their swirling remix of Troye Sivan’s ‘Happy Little Pill’ set the blogosphere ablaze. Now, they’re putting their own original work into the world, and ‘Flashing Lights’ is indicative of great things to come.

Taking plenty of cues from down-tempo electronica and the more serene sections of house, ‘Flashing Lights’ also features Jake Fehily’s heartstring-tugging vocals over the top – and given their resume, it’s not farfetched to see Casper Zazz as future gurus of collaboration in the same way that acts like Disclosure have thrived. Listen to ‘Flashing Lights’ here and keep two ears open for more from Casper Zazz in the future:
