Summer Sessions is about to kick off for 2018!

We’ve still got a few weeks left of basking in the glorious Australian sunshine, and after having a swell time with Middle Kids & Cub Sport in 2017, we’ve decided to jump back onto Summer Bright Lager’s national Summer Sessions tour. This time around, Alex Lahey & The Belligerents will be trekking around Australia for some co-headline shows, and the mantra is still very much the same: live music in the arvo, some of Australia’s best sun-soaked venues, ice cole beverages, and an entry fee of zero dollars.

The whole tour kicks off in Western Australia on February 17, and the for the first two shows, local heroes Verge Collection will be joining the festivities. With their debut album Flaneur dropping on March 30, it’s busy times for the Verge Collection boys, who’ll have a couple of new gems to add to their arsenal of breezy, effortlessly catchy tunes.

Ahead of Verge Collection’s two appearances, we caught up with singer Ben Arnold to find out a little more about the band, their Summer Sessions colleagues, and what to expect at the live show. Watch above, and check out all the tour dates below:
