The Newcastle-come-Sydney post-punk force are at it again.

Flight To Dubai first popped up on our radar last year when they released their Graduation/Last Hue double single that well and truly blew our haircuts away. Now the gritty four-piece have returned with the first video from their debut EP Frontal Lobes in the form of ‘Fearlings’ – and we couldn’t be more into it.

Complete with groovy tempo shifts and hooky vocals, ‘Fearlings’ musically encapsulates everything we love about Flight To Dubai. There’s a obvious rawness and self-deprecation with a heartstrung core underneath which makes for a compelling listen, and is probably the reason punters up and down the coast who have been flocking to catch their notoriously volatile live show.

The video, which was directed by the band themselves follows the hijinks of a masked cohort who have front row (or couch) seats for a living room Flight To Dubai performance. There’s a certain creepiness to these characters but the clip also has no shortage of humour in there too.
