Queensland sibling duo Lastlings are about to enter a new chapter of their flourishing career, with their sophomore Verses EP dropping this Friday.

It’ll be their first release since signing to Exist Recordings – the label headed by fellow electronica wizard The Kite String Tangle – and comes hot off festival performances at Pitch and FOMO as well as gigs with RÜFÜS and Glass Animals. The lead single from the project titled ‘Urges’ was released last month, and is another prime example of their beautifully overcast and pensive sound.

Now, we’re proud to premiere a live video of Lastlings performing the track live at Tanks Arts Centre in Cairns, where you’ll see their majestic blend of synths, live instruments and vocals in action.

It’s just a taste of what you’ll experience at the Verses tour, which begins on release day in Melbourne and wraps up in Sydney. See the crucial dates below, and if ‘Urges’ is anything to go by, this will be one of the year’s standout local releases. You can also revisit our Lastlings interview here.
