Kodak fans get ready…

Currently serving over four years behind bars for weapons and drug related charges, Florida rapper Kodak Black has come out with a fresh freestyle about the Coronavirus and his views on the world.

In a video posted to Kodak’s instagram, we see the young 22 year old rapping through the prison visitation phone, digging in deep to deliver some impassioned heat about the world.

“This for the little kids in Africa, stomachs touching they back/And the kids in China been eating bats for a snack,” Kodak raps. “They need to be wiser and I ain’t talking ’bout beer/Because corona got the whole world in fear.”

Kodak then gets personal, talking about his time in prison “I wonder what the excuse gonna be when the world ending?/And when it do I just hope I ain’t in prison,” he continued. “Tryna stay updated with this hip-hop shit/And my son don’t answer the phone, he on that TikTok shit/And COVID-19 ain’t got nothing to do with me ’cause I’m from 1800 block–it ain’t got nothing to do wit me!”

Damn, Kodak definitely has some things to say from the pen. It seems that no matter where someone is in the world, whether they’re out in the public or imprisoned in jail, there seems to be no place Corona can’t reach…
