Shortly after releasing their hugely successful record Hail To The Thief UK alt-rock gods Radiohead embarked on a world tour. One of the stops on that tour was Tennessee as part of the Bonnaroo Festival. What else can you say? It’s Radiohead at the peak of their powers playing to a massive crowd – it’s fucking awesome. Hell they even chuck in the then-unreleased ‘15 Steps’ and a few more from In Rainbows.
On their Instagram, Jonny Greenwood said it was “the best festival experience [he’s] ever had in America,” adding, “I hope the heat, dust, and smell of fine Southern whiskey comes over as well as the songs.” Peep it below (don’t question my authority…)

This week something new: we've tracked down the original desk audio for our @bonnaroo show. Filmed in 2006 in Tennessee it's easily, comfortably, the best festival experience I've ever had in America. I hope the heat, dust, and smell of fine Southern whiskey comes over as well as the songs – and I hope that we get back to live music soon. – Jonny Premiering tomorrow at 10pm UK / 2pm PT / 5pm ET.
