Mountain Sounds Festival shook things up once again on the Central Coast last weekend, bringing Australia’s best to Mount Penang Parklands for a long day of muddy madness.

With no shortage of gigs poppin’ off in Sydney on Saturday, Mountain Sounds was still a heavy drawcard and enough to have us road-trippin’ our way to witness RÜFÜS, DMA’s, Dune Rats, Skegss and more. A little rainfall did nothing to deter the crowd, who crafted a sea of ponchos on the dancefloor and used the mud for some classic festival antics – and let’s be honest, the moist conditions were most welcome after the country’s latest relentless heatwave.
