Celebrating Australia’s next wave of surfing talent, Oakley Battle Clips took over Newcastle for a special screening in the country’s first man-on-man video comp for surfers under 29 years old.

After a huge social media voting system that saw thousands of fans choose their winner via keyboard, it was announced that Brett Dorrington took home the gold medal as well as 20 racks, while his filmmaker also snagged $5000 in Nikon camera gear. Not bad! Guest judges and guests included Aussie surf heroes Julian Wilson, Toby Martin and Danny Wills.
