The Seattle duo are back.

ODESZA’s third album isn’t even a fortnight old, so to have them in Australia right now is something special – and Sydney turned it on for the first of their two shows at The Enmore Theatre on Saturday night. A Moment Apart is the first album on their own Foreign Family Collective imprint, and so it marks a huge leap for the group, with their live show living up to all their current hype.

Supported by The Kite String Tangle and Running Touch, the duo continued the night’s emphasis on emotive electronica with a live show that was able to hit us right in the feels and still get the dancefloor moving. Short live cameos included Naomi Wild on ‘Higher Ground,’ and if ODESZA gained an army of new fans with the new album, they’ve won a few more with their latest tour Down Under:
