It’s been one hell of a journey for Sean Malto.

The Kansas City street skater was crowned the Rookie of the Year by TransWorld way back in 2009, and since then, he’s won medals at X Games, earned his own SB sneaker with Nike, and even had a part remixed by the French electro yahoos at Ed Banger. Despite suffering a horrendous ankle injury in 2014 which sidelined him for several years, Sean is back on the board and looking slick – a true testament to his perseverance and pure love of skate.

We linked up with Sean in Los Angeles to skate a few of his favourite spots. Despite some less than favourable weather, Sean still got it done with some help from his mates Chris Cole and Curren Caples. After that, we winded down with a few beers and competitive games of Skee-Ball, which is pretty much the perfect end to any day.
