It’s time to throw out that Daft Punk tee-shirt from Target that has seen it’s fair share of festivals, because the French, masked duo have just dropped a line of vintage-inspired merchandise. You can probably think of better ways to spend your money TBH, but for the Daft Punk fan that has everything else – they’ve just dropped a yo-yo, New Era cap and a frisbee in their online store, amid rumours that they could be releasing a new album after signing up to JZ’s streaming service TIDAL.
These items follow the skateboard, T-shirts, tank tops, mug and belt buckle all put on sale in the wake of their last album “Random Access Memories”, released in 2013 – which if you remember correctly – was launched in the sheep and cattle territory of Wee Waa in rural New South Wales. Between that and the nostalgia inspired range of stuff they’ve just released, at least they keep you guessing.
