Anyone got a HBO account I can borrow real quick?

In celebration of what’s easily the greatest show to ever exist, The Sopranos, turning 25 this year, the streaming overlords at HBO have dug into the show’s vaults, emerging with a bunch of new snippets and scenes from the drama’s six season run.

All in all, there are 15 new scenes set to be released, with three of them being rolled out on the streamers exclusive platform, HBO Max. Along with the snippets is a generous five hours of BTS footage (it better be all family dinners and witty one liners). It’s a nostalgic return to the slums of New Jersey, one that’s set to be made just a little bit more surreal by the official “Family Dinner” event HBO has scheduled for this week, with the whole cast set to return with the exception of the late (but great) James Gandolfini.

If all of this is making you feel a bit late to the party and you’re wondering who the hell the Sopranos even are, you’re in luck, as HBO have started an official TikTok account for the show, and are bombarding the internet with 25 second explainers of every episode in the series. It’s a quick fire way of helping you fall back in love (or perhaps, for the first time) with the Italian crime family that took the world by storm in the early to mid 2000s.

Definitely worth snuggling up to your mate with a HBO account for the next little while, at lest until the scenes are leaked online. Check out one of the recaps above along with one of our favourite scenes from the show below… The Jacket…
