Elliott Routledge Brings His ‘Strange Oasis’ Exhibition To Melbourne This Week

Sydney artist Elliott ‘Funskull’ Routledge is heading south this weekend, presenting his ‘Strange Oasis’ exhibition in Melbourne.

Having previously featured in our art series Mad Love, Routledge has covered much of his home city (as well as Paris, London and Tokyo, to name a few) in vibrant colour, warped shapes and smiley faces. Now, Routledge is now taking his trademark aesthetic to the Strange Oasis show in Melbourne, kicking off this week.

It will consist of one instillation and canvas paintings, exploring the idea of a contemporary oasis beyond the noise and clutter of everyday life.

The exhibition opens on Friday, October 27 at the RVCA Corner Gallery in Collingwood, with drinks and nibbles from 6:00pm. From there, Strange Oasis will be showing until November 12, so check the details below and head on down this weekend:
