One of the most quoted films of the last century, Scarface is getting a remake, it’s been confirmed. Apparently in the works for years now, the film will be helmed by Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino and based on a script written three years ago by much-acclaimed writer/director duo Joel and Ethan Cohen.
So far no real plot details have surfaced, though a statement from the studio says it is a “reimagining of the core immigrant story told in both the 1932 and 1983 films.” All we can say is hooooollllyy shit. This should be pretty fucking epic. We’ll let you know as soon as more news comes in, but for now, enjoy these top scenes from the 1983 film starring Al Pacino.
