It’s a bittersweet feeling for the hordes of Game Of Thrones fans around the world – while an incoming new season has us buzzing with excitement, there’s also the knowledge that it’s all coming to a close.
The seventh season is set to kick off on July 17, which will also serve as the penultimate season of the cult series. Still, they’re setting things up for some colossal closing chapters – and this new trailer has GOT enthusiasts begging for more. There’s no violence or bloodshed that’s become synonymous with the show, but that only serves to amp up the teasing tension. Instead, it’s a slow-burning 80 second clip backed by a haunting soundtrack and plenty of dramatic close-ups of Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryan and Cersei Lannister.
