Rihanna, is there anything she can’t do?

Not content with dominating the worlds of music, fashion and beauty, RiRi is set to be immortalised in her native Barbados, where she’ll soon have a street named after her.

Rihanna Drive will officially be christened on November 30, taking over the old name of Westbury New Road, where the R&B star spent her younger years. An official release reads:

The Government of Barbados will on Independence Day, Thursday 30th November, 2017 officially change the name of Westbury New Road located in St. Michael to Rihanna Drive in honour of Barbadian superstar Ms. Robyn Rihanna Fenty who grew up in Westbury New Road.

Rihanna has always been proud of her Barbadian heritage, whether it’s the patois she used in ‘Work,’ her handful of singles pushing Caribbean sounds into the mainstream, or Internet-stopping outfits at each year’s Crop Over Festival. It seemed like only a matter of time before she was officially acknowledged by the Barbadian government, and getting your own street name is pretty damn neat.

The new sign will be unveiled by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and Rihanna herself at Westbury New Road, from 3:00p.m on November 30. But remember how Parkway Drive street signs kept getting stolen in Australia after the metalcore band of the same name started getting popular? We imagine that a Rihanna street sign is going to be one of the most sought after, ever.

Prepare to take a trip down Rihanna Drive, and listen to ‘Man Down’ below, because why the hell not?
