While Touch Bass festival is sold out, they’ll be throwing an afterparty on Easter Sunday – and really, is there any better way to commemorate Jesus Christ’s resurrection than listening to hyper-aggressive bass music in an extremely sweaty room?

Sydney DJ and full-time Fila enthuisiast Jade Le Flay will be one of the artists performing at the Touch Bass afterparty, which is just another highlight in her recent string of achievements. She’s supported international heavyweights including Flux Pavilion, Slander, TroyBoi and Zomboy, while her hyperactive sets – encompassing the bouncier and bass-dependent sections of dance – have hit the mark at manic Sydney dancefloors like The Wall and Chinese Laundry.

Ahead of her set this weekend, Jade has handed us a miniature mix to give us a taste of what’s in store at the Touch Bass afterparty. There’s a gutteral remix of PNAU’s comeback single ‘Chamelon,’ while an edit of Drizzy’s recent track ‘Portland’ – crafted by Sydney’s own producer Esar – thankfully keeps the flute in tact. Long live the flute! It all ends with ‘Humble’ by Kendrick Lamar, which is super timely considering that the Compton emcee is due to drop his album DAMN any minute now.

Have a listen to Jade’s mix below as we head into a much-needed long weekend, and catch her at the Touch Bass afterparty this Sunday. Tickets right here:
