As Autumn rolls around and we begin to welcome colder nights and less active nightlife, many are left scratching their noggins on what to do when the sun goes down, if you’re in Sydney from late may to June, we’ve got you covered.

Vivid Sydney – a celebration of contemporary music, art and thought opens on the 22nd of May and ushers with it many world renowned musicians and artists. Amongst which sits Sydney’s own golden boy, Flume. This is exciting for a number of reasons, primarily of which is that Vivid will allegedly be his only show in Australia this year.

Playing alongside our home grown hero, are other locals Flight Facilities, Daniel Johns and Touch sensitive (the better half of Van She). All of the artists no matter their specific medium were chosen to represent the concept which Vivid tries to embody. One which celebrates individual thought and artist process.

Vivid comes to a conclusion on the 8th June. Leaving less than a month for all light lovers to bask in the rays of artificial luminescence which will be igniting Sydney Harbours shoreline for a full 18 days.
