That’s a fire name…

Pharrell Williams is teaming up with Netflix for a new gospel-inspired show Voices of Fire, which will see him return to his home state of Virginia to form “one of the world’s most inspiring gospel choirs.” He’ll be doing so alongside his uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams, in their hometown community of Hampton Roads, as they interact with talent from various ages and backgrounds.

Williams will co-executive produce the show, which will be hitting Netflix before the end of the year. But that’s not all he’s got cooking, being in talks with Blackish creator Kenya Barris & Netflix to create a musical film about the history of Juneteenth, the oldest running holiday that marks the end of slavery in America.
