Splendour In The Grass passes sold out in a flash this year, and while many are looking into the resale facility opening on May 8, there’s 50 special tickets going up for auction first.

With Cyclone Debbie leaving a trail of damage across northern NSW earlier this year, the Splendour team will be auctioning off 50 gold passes to raise money for the communities affected, with 100% of the proceeds helping the cause.

“Splendour is proud to call Northern NSW home and many of our event team live and operate businesses across the Lismore, Byron and Tweed Shires. It has been heartbreaking to see the flood damage on such a huge scale and also to hear so many stories of loss. We hope that this fundraising initiative will provide assistance to those who need it most,” Splendour producers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco said.

The gold passes will be auctioned off from Tuesday 2 May to Friday 5, running from 9:00am to 9:00pm. A new batch will be going up each day from Splendour’s official website, with a reserve of $500. The gold passes will get you into the three-day festival, also allowing you to enjoy the VIP areas offering an unbeatable view of the Ampitheatre. Camping is not included with the gold pass.

Get bidding come Tuesday – this is one of the best ways to raise some dough while treating yourself to The XX, Queens Of The Stone Age, LCD Soundsystem, HAIM, ScHoolboy Q and more come July.
