It’s gonna be well above 30 degrees this weekend, and with our favourite season well and truly on its way, Summer Bright Lager have brought two of Australia’s most promising indie talents together for a free tour this October and November.
‘Summer Sessions’ will feature Cub Sport & Middle Kids joining forces for six dates along the East Coast, kicking off in Wollongong and working its way up north to wrap up on the Sunshine Coast. All gigs will be hosted in the afternoon, celebrating the Australian sunshine and unbeatable coastal locations where the ocean is just a heartbeat away. Presented by the legends over at Stab Magazine and yours truly, the ‘Summer Sessions’ tour is looking to be a belter. Oh yeah, and did we mention that all gigs will cost you zero dollars to get in?
The tour is bloody timely too, with Cub Sport releasing their highly-anticipated album BATS tomorrow, giving fans an early chance to hear the record performed live in an intimate, laid-back atmosphere. Meanwhile, Middle Kids have just jumped off a three-month American tour, spreading the good word from their very solid self-titled EP released back in March.
