Amazon To Offer One-Hour Booze Delivery In Seattle

While Sydney continues to face restrictions on partying and liquor, things are looking a little sunnier in Seattle – where online giant Amazon will begin providing one-hour booze delivery on beers, spirits and wine for the more refined drinkers.

Rolling out through its ‘Prime Now’ App, users can pay $7.99 to get the drink of their choice delivered in under 60 minutes, while two-hour delivery will cost you nothing at all. Similar services have been offered in Sydney in the past, but nothing on this scale – the closest thing we have now is Uber drivers delivering cats and gelato, or maybe both at the same time.

According to Fortune, the service also provides last-minute essentials such as party supplies, cleaning products and some food. Shit, let’s order a bottle of bourbon along with some streamers and a ShamWow.
