Patty Mills has stated that he will be donating the rest of his earnings from this season to Black Lives Matter organisations in Australia.

In case you needed any extra convincing that Patty Mills is one of the biggest sporting legends this country has produced, the Spurs guard has dug deep announcing that he’ll be donating a mammoth $US1,017,818.54 – AKA the remainder of his season earnings – to Black Lives Matter groups in Australia after the season kicks off in Florida.

It follows weeks of protests over the treatment of black people globally, sparked by the death of George Floyd at the hands of four LAPD officers, with thousands of Australian’s joining protests and adding voice to our appalling indigenous incarceration rate.
