“I really love to explore and I’m always inspired by beautiful locations,” says Sydney-based photographer Cameron Hammond. “If I find a place I like the look of it usually looks even better after adding a beautiful girl… or two.” The former TV camera man now shoots for the likes of C-Heads Magazine, Cake and Next Door Model where his hyperreal imagery captures stunning day-time scenery and even more attractive women.

“I’ve always loved cameras but my inspiration for fashion photography came when I was working as a television cameraman,” he tells us. “I was filming a popular reality TV show about modelling and was inspired by the fashion photographers. I thought to myself “that looks fun, I could do that!” I knew right then I wanted to work in an industry that encouraged creativity whilst capturing beauty. All I’m really trying to achieve with my photography is to create images that can hopefully give someone the same feeling I get when I see a photo I love. Looking at nice photos is one of the purest joys for me and if I can give another person that same feeling then the photo is a success.”

This day in the desert with Lola & Jana was filled with fun moments, this was one of my favourites. (Shot for Cake Magazine)

I loved this day with Eva and Becky so much. (For C-Heads Magazine)

Eva & Becky again, this time on a giant aqua bike. (For C-Heads Magazine)

I paddled a tiny inflatable boat filled with gear, beer, Clara & Corrie down a river to a houseboat, which we broke into for this shoot. (For C-Heads Magazine)

… and then we cooked lunch on the houseboats BBQ. We left a box of beer to thank the owners who we never met. (For C-Heads Magazine)

An older shot of my good friend Laura… and yet another location that we had to break into. (Fan the Fire Magazine)

Becky braided her own hair for this shoot. (Cake Magazine)

Becky also knitted her own bikini for this shoot, she has skills! (Cake Magazine)
