Art and skate from around the globe is coming together for one huge event during Art Basel.

adidas Skateboarding and Juxtapoz Magazine are bringing together world-class athletes and a selection of works from some killer artists – including our very own Sid Tapia – together in Miami for The Showcase. It’s taking over the Juxtapoz Clubhouse at the Historic Walgreen’s Building in Downtown Miami from December 7-10th.

Aussie skate and art legend Tapia – who’s work includes everything from sprawling murals to intricate drawings -say’s he’s “excited to be part of such a prolific global festival.” And so he should be, with The Showcase featuring his work alongside buzzing artists including the excellently-named Spacegoth and Homeless Cop, as well as work from Latin America and Europe.

“The goal of The Showcase has always been to bring the global skateboarding community together, celebrate our creativity, and help elevate the incredible talent we share as skateboarders,” Cullen Poythress of adidas Action Sports says. “Working with an outlet like Juxtapoz to bring some of the best creators from The Showcase to a global stage in Miami is a huge step forward in supporting this next generation of young artists.”
