Party & Bullshit
September 23, 2017

While Kings Cross has taken multiple hits since the introduction of the lockout laws, a trusted team has taken over the old spot inhabited by Hugos to introduce their latest venture.

Following the closure of Double Bay venue Casablanca, the team have moved even further into the heartland of Sydney nightlife, taking over Hugos’ prime location on Bayswater Road for the new Flamingo Lounge. Out of all of the offerings on the Sydney party strip, Flamingo Lounge leans towards the upper class end. Fridays will be dominated by house music, Saturdays by hip-hop and R&B, while the legendary Sneaky Sundays (courtesy of longtime Australian dance favourites Sneaky Sound System) will also be resurrected at the venue.

Last Friday night, Flaming Lounge was officially introduced to Sydney with their inaugural instalment of Flamingo Fridays. The venue, featuring throwback decor inspired by Miami clubs, was packed to the brim with the likes of Charlie Chux delivering smooth gems until late. See the images here, and head down for your first taste of Flamingo Lounge ASAP:
