Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ has accumulated 250 million views on Youtube in just over two months. Absolutely ridiculous. While we loved the controversial clip, we can’t really say the same about the track’s audio.
Now, somebody’s put a new twist on ‘Anaconda’ by reciting its lyrics in poetic style. With just a simple piano backing, hearing lines such as “this one is for my bitches with a fat ass in the fucking club” in a more formal fashion is pretty ridiculous.
The clip also features footage from Nicki Minaj in ‘Anaconda’ put in slow motion and juxtaposed with images of clouds, waves and sunsets. All pretty great:
