With summer fast approaching, the tour announcements are coming in by the bag full – and Lil Uzi Vert looks to be the next star to reveal Australian dates soon.

It’s been a stellar year for the Philadelphia artist, releasing his Luv Is Rage 1.5 EP and debut album Luv Is Rage 2, the latter of which peaked at Number. 1 on the Billboard charts. Driven by the momentum of his inescapable single ‘XO TOUR Llif3′ and guest feature on Migos’ smash hit ‘Bad & Boujee.’ Lil Uzi Vert has been one of the year’s standout stars with his preference for morbid melody, also taking aesthetic cues from the likes of Marilyn Manson.

Now, Illusive Presents – one of the more reliable rap promoters in the country – has released a teaser on their Facebook page, all but confirming that Lil Uzi Vert shows are coming in the near future:

A clear reference to ‘XO TOUR Llif3,’ keep your eyes peeled for confirmation over the next few days. One New Zealand show has been announced thus far for Tuesday 20 February at Logan Campbell Centre, Auckland – so expect the Australian dates to follow suit soon after.

In the meantime, we’d say it’s safe to start getting excited – Uzi Vert’s first Australian trip is on the horizon.
