It’s been a while between releases for Skegss, but finally we have a taste of their forthcoming debut full-length with ‘Up In The Clouds.’

Sitting around an outdoor table, crushing beers and clowning about with mates – it’s an Aussie tradition that’s been around since the dawning of time (or the invention of outdoor tables) and it pretty much sums up the plot of Skegss brand new video for ‘Up In The Clouds,’ plus we see the lads literally ‘up the creek without paddle’ which makes for some humorous viewing indeed.

Don’t worry, the music is sweet too. The three-piece deliver the perfect balance of emotive lyrics and head banging choruses which is a good sign for what is hopefully to come on their debut record, due out later this year on Dune Rat’s label Ratbag Records.

The good news doesn’t stop there with the boys announcing they’ll be hitting the road with Dumb Punts and Los Scallywags for a national tour in June (tickets here) before they play this years Splendour In The Grass:

You can also catch Skegss playing Groovin’ The Moo all around regional Australia over April and May.
