The inaugural lineup announcement is always an important one. It sets the tone for the future of a festival, demonstrates what sort of punters they are trying to attract and also gives an opportunity for organisers to firmly stamp their brand on their event. Today, we see Good Things festival is intent on throwback to the good old days of ‘alternative’ music (whatever that means) with a tasty looking lineup.
Heavyweights The Offspring, who will be performing their 1999 Smash in full will be joined by Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor’s side project Stone Sour, and emo titans The Used and Dashboard Confessional. Aussie acts The Smith Street Band, Northlane and WAAX will also feature on the roster that will hit Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in December.
