The trio return with ‘Paradise’, the third single from their 2018 debut album, My Own Mess.

When you’re having a snooze under the hot sun sometimes your mind can wander to some pretty weird places. If you’re anything like the lads from Skegss, you’d probably dream of sharing a couple of scotch fingers with an extraterrestrial, or flying through the world on the back of a huge dog Neverending Story-style, or dropping some burnouts in Bangalow – completely in claymation. At least, that’s what’s happening in their latest video for their garage-rock anthem ‘Paradise’.

Directed by Nick Chalmers, the clip incorporates beers, backyards, snags, and more claymation than a 90’s kids program on ABC. Launched on their Facebook this morning, it has a Hollywood-level vision with a DIY ethos, and it’s exactly the kind of tongue-in-cheek goodness that we’ve come to expect from the boys over the years.

You can catch Skegss playing with Pist Idiots and The Buoys at The Beery on the Central Coast tomorrow (info here), and at Laneway Festivals in 2019 (info here).
