Sydney’s finest.

Two of our favourite acts connect for Julia Jacklin’s latest single.

Having dropped two visually entrancing and musically engrossing singles, the sombre ‘Body’ and the empowering ‘Head Alone’, singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin has returned with some brand new music from her forthcoming sophomore record Crushing. Only it’s not just the soaring vocalist starring in the clip, she’s also enlisted the help of Sydney indie-rockers Body Type.

Shot in the same wood panelled house (which has now been dubbed “iconic” by some fans) as her 2016 ballad ‘Pool Party’, the video sees Jacklin drumming with the members of Body Type covering the other instruments. Filmed in one take, we also see an uncomfortable Jacklin squeezed in between some dancers, sipping on a beer, and getting picked on by some kids.

Take a look at ‘Pressure To Party’ below as well as a recent live performance on Paste Music And Daytrotter performing ‘Body’, ‘Don’t Know How To Keep Loving You’, and ‘Head Alone’. Crushing will be out February 22nd, and we can’t wait.
