‘No Cigar’ is the behind the scenes look at the Coolum-born surfer.
Watching Australian surf champion Julian Wilson take on some of the world’s best waves against the world’s best competitors is what many of us would consider a dream job. For Wilson’s longtime filmer and best friend Jimmy Lees, it’s a reality. In the new short film ‘No Cigar’, we are offered a behind the scenes look at the highs and lows of Wilson’s run at the title, as captured through Lees’ insider lense.
