Not everyone was pleased with how it all went down…
With a low scoring affair on the cards for the Super Bowl this year, viewers could certainly use a little bit of a pick-me-up come halftime. Sadly, sop-rock crooners Maroon 5 took up the bulk of the 15-minute interval, playing six tunes, with Travis Scott being introduced by Spongebob before performing ‘Sick Mode’, and Outkast’s Big Boi rolling out in a convertible to play ‘The Way You Move’.
The Maroon 5-heavy show has already drawn criticism on twitter with LeBron James even having a stab at the comparatively small amount of time allocated to Travis Scott and Big Boi. Check out the performances (and tweets) below and make up your own mind:
